Course Description

WINTER SEASON 2024 5-8 y/o | Fridays 15:30-16:30 (60 min) Discover Art Lab Amsterdam's New Children's Art Classes! Connecting Confidence, Culture, and Nature Join our new art session where young artists explore their favorite animals through drawing, painting, play and crafts. Inspired by contemporary and historical artists, including those featured in local museums, this curriculum nurtures creativity and skill development. Build Confidence: Our classes empower children to express themselves confidently. We incorporate meditation techniques to help them reflect on their feelings and personal experiences. Children are encouraged when they feel ready to share their art work with the class. Foster Empathy and Cultural Awareness: Through art games and collaborative projects, children bond with each other and learn to appreciate cultures from around the world. Embrace the Wonder of Nature: Children will create projects inspired by natural phenomena, such as rain and storms, enhancing their connection to the beauty of the natural world. Relaxing, inspiring music accompanies these creative sessions. Every child receives a sketchbook for use in each class. We hold mid-term games and final reviews when parents are invited to join and practice a technique with their child. Plus, every child receives a creative gift at the end of the course.
